Join the Elite Beach Club in Spokane/CDA area! We have been traveling for 5 years for beach volleyball.  Our experience is to your benefit. Join the club that gets your player in front of college coaches as much as possible.  Our coaches are current on what training is required to make your player successful and noticed!  The player as a whole person is important to us, and our coaches guide players with positive reinforcement and learning moments. 

Elite groups are girls age groups U12 - U18.  Our Elite Squad Try Outs are April 12, 2024 5:30 - 7:30pm. If you need a make up try out please email us.

USAV membership must be current.  Players do not have to have a partner.  You are NOT required to travel!!!! Coaches will make pairs for each tournament from the players that are available to travel.  Partners may vary from tournament to tournament.  We know from experience that you grow and learn much faster as a partner if you don't play with the same partner every time.  You will have an opportunity to sign up for extra tournaments (outside the elite squad schedule) and choose your own partner.

Practice Times:

U12 Elite - T/TH - 4 - 6pm 

Elite Prep - T/TH 4-6 and W 6-8pm

Elite Next - T/TH 6-8pm and W 6-8pm

Elite - T/TH 6-8pm and W 6-8pm

We have MANY players who are still doing indoor at the start of the season.  Coaches are flexible for those players that need to leave practice early or miss some.

Elite Membership:

• Club Gear included (T-shirt, Tank Top and Sticker) 

• Slunks Gear will be required for ages 13-18.  $145 includes Slunks shorts, leggings, tank and sports bra. 

• Opportunities such as Kōkua hosted college showcase, travel to Nationals in California, and clinics with college coaches and AVP Pros.

• Small group ratio​​

• Cost $325 every 4 weeks for practices (U12 is $250).  Practices are three times a week for 2 hours each. (Why 3 practices a week? We have been traveling for 5 years for beach, and we know that our players need to hit the sand as much as possible during warm months to stay competitive in other states)

• Practices will begin April 30th and end 2nd week of August. 

• Middle school age elite players will have an opportunity to continue into September.

• Priority registration for Kōkua Beach Clinics and Tournaments. 

• Coaching from Kōkua coach during all Elite Squad Scheduled tournaments

• Memberships are required for each governing body we play in

• Elite squads will participate in 5-6 tournaments 

  • 2-3 of those tournaments will be local 

  • 2-3 of those tournaments will be travel, as allowed

  • ​Registration fees for tournaments are not included.  Average $30-100 a player

  • Travel could include places like Chelan, Tri-Cities, Alki Beach in Seattle, CA or AZ

• All Players on Elite Squads will split the cost of coach travel for tournaments they attend.  Players will be responsible for their own travel costs.
